Each crew kept the same vehicle for their entire
day's duty. Though meal reliefs were taken at Golders Green Station tube canteen
there were no actual changeover of crews at Golders Green Station. The two
spreadover (peak hour) buses ran light to and from MH via the North Circular
Road between peaks, the crew also keeping the same bus for each half, finishing
runs also being 'light' to Muswell Hill Garage whereupon a fresh crew took
over at MH generally within the hour.
Basically, the only buses to run in service were the six buses out in the
morning (MH 81 to 86 inclusive) and the two returning spreadover (evening
peak buses) from Aldwych (MH 82 & 84).
